Manatees enjoy body surfing, body rolling, and playing follow the leader.

Manatees, sometimes known as sea cows, are intelligent, semi-social creatures who display a lot of playful behaviors. When the gates of flood dams are partly open, a group of manatees might swim into the currents, nuzzling each other and vocalizing. This is similar to human body surfing. In follow the leader, manatees will swim single file, the follower mimickin the movements of the leader, such diving and changing direction.
